Do not buy diamond studs for this purpose. Diamonds--other than an engagement ring--are not for daytime wear. She should not be wearing diamond studs to the office.

This is outdated advice. I and plenty of other women in the corporate world wear simple diamond studs daily.

I agree that diamond studs are fine for daytime and the office. Those outdated rules are silly.
