Agree. If Palestinians and Israelis want to live in a state of perpetual hatred, go for it. Their problem, not ours. We have no strategic interest in the region in 2025. |
What if some of the people there don't want to "live in a state of perpetual hatred" and would gladly emigrate elsewhere? Would the US take them? Would other countries? Many (most?) Israelis and Gazans do not hold a passport to another country. I know people like to compare what is happening in Gaza to the Holocaust. But part of the parallel is that similar to Jews in the 1930's and 1940's - most other countries are not willing to take these people in. Which, for Israel at least, was the point of it's existence. A place that would always welcome the world's Jews should they ever be forcibly displaced again with nowhere to go. |
While committing genocide. |
They're only supporting ethnic cleansing, lol. |
Great, it sounds like you are strongly in favor of a Palestinian homeland. Let's get it done. We already know what the borders would be so this should be easy to fix. |
I have no problem with a 2 state solution. But I also don't view the Palestinians as innocent or without fault in this whole mess. If a two state solution were enacted and agreed upon, and then Palestine attacked Israel, would you support Israel's right to respond? |
Would Israel really do that when it is surrounded by Muslim countries and don't have the support of america or any other world power? I am not so sure. |
Knowing Israel they would probably bomb themselves or arm Palestinians to attack themselves and then "respond" |
US and Europe should take any remaining Christians who want to leave and nobody else. The Muslims have closer countries (in physical and cultural proximity) to take them in if those countries choose to do so. The Jewish people can fend for themselves. Objectively lots of people throughout history have been wiped out or totally assimilated into another culture. The Jews should be no different. If they want to do war instead of diplomacy, then they should be willing to face that possible consequence. |
Of course. If Palestine was a country instead of an occupied protectorate/colony then the morality of this whole situation would be different. The problem though is that ironically Israel is the entity that's categorically opposed to a Palestinian homeland ever coming to fruition. |
Israel needs a different leader. |
Preemptive self-defense. The Zionist who coined that phrase should be liquidated, resurrected, liquidated again, and the process should repeat for all eternity. |
Like who? |
I have never been against Israel or Israelis in my five decades of life. I have supported Jewish endeavors and even worked for a JCC.
Never again. Jewish people should be ashamed of themselves and I will never not consider them deplorable. |
