Of course they are not going to feel lucky. And yet they are. We have to live in a country that tortures immigrants for fun, lets citizens by assault rifles, and prioritizes the selling of silencers.

Silenced firearms are still around 130DB, which is still considered harmful to the ears and is about as loud as a jet engine from a few feet away.

The real tragedy here is that an armed private citizen wasn’t able to stop the stabbing attack before 17 people ended up getting stabbed.

In a nation of defenseless sheep, anyone with a pointy stick can be a wolf.

Meanwhile in a nation where the gun lobby has sold people a delusional notion of "carrying guns makes you safe and lets you defend yourself" none of those people carrying guns are preventing crime. We still have more mass attacks and violent crime than countries with stricter gun controls than ourselves.
