That was my first thought. Here there would be 34 dead. It's a tragedy but they are also lucky that they don't have our un-common sense gun laws.

Where there is no gun culture, people's instinct is not to "feel lucky" it was a knife attack. 17 + people were stabbed and 6 are in critical condition. It's also one of many attacks in Europe over the past few months. It's pretty terrifying for people who live there, gun or not.

The real tragedy here is that an armed private citizen wasn’t able to stop the stabbing attack before 17 people ended up getting stabbed.

In a nation of defenseless sheep, anyone with a pointy stick can be a wolf.

I agree with this.

It is scary but still not as deadly as guns.

I’m sure the people who will inevitably die from this attack will be comforted by that.

What is the leading costs of death for minors in Germany? Is it guns like it is here?

I dunno. What age is a “minor” in Germany? Is it up to age 26, like it is here for your cherry picked statistic?

Whine and squirm and spout unrelated nonsense all you want. ... The number one thing that's killing our kids in this country is firearms.

Sure, as long as you insist on counting 24 year old career criminal gang members as “children”.

I agree with you. Under that definition, it IS the number one cause. You’re not lying.

Nope. Under 18.

Sure, absolutely. If you’re 18, you’re obviously also under 26. And anyone under 26 who’s died from a gun shot wound is counted in this number.

I agree with you. You are not lying in your statistic.

Crawl back under your NRA rock. Here are the ugly facts ...

From a report out of johns hopkins school of public health:

For third straight year, firearms killed more children and teens, ages 1 to 17, than any other cause including car crashes and cancer

Mostly suicides. Address the underlying mental health issues.

Lockdowns became deadly for many troubled teens.

Likely the result of letting in Muslims.

Well, I mean, what else were they supposed to do? The native-born Germans weren’t doing these knife attacks. Too lazy I guess. So they brought in immigrants to do the stabbings the Germans wouldn’t do themselves.

Don’t you understand how immigration even works, brah?

You are talking to Democrats, far left Democrats. This is just a cultural misunderstanding. The muslims are mostly peaceful.

Good lord, you're an insufferable mess. The Hamburg stabber has been taken into custody. Wasn't Muslim, nor an immigrant. Nor did it have anything to do with ideology. That makes you every kind of wrong.

It was a German woman believed to be having a psychotic break.

Yup, that's why no one really cares about this story anymore and has moved on

Clearly the people obsessed with hate toward immigrants and muslims haven't moved on because they are peddling nonsense about how this attack had something to do with immigrants and muslims.

Meanwhile in a nation where the gun lobby has sold people a delusional notion of "carrying guns makes you safe and lets you defend yourself" none of those people carrying guns are preventing crime. We still have more mass attacks and violent crime than countries with stricter gun controls than ourselves.

Data and reality proves you're peddling nonsense and are yourself just a sheep mindlessly following gun lobby sales pitches.

So…. you want to take everyone’s guns away so car crashes and cancer can have more kids to kill?

Have you thought this through?

Wow! How many times were you infected with Covid?

Have you ever been stabbed?

+1 frankly, I'd rather die from a gunshot

NP.

Does anyone know whether a Zombie knife was used in this attack?

Okay, well if you're in this country, you're much more likely to get your wish than most other places. Especially if you're a child.

Here's a study that disagrees with you. Teen suicides went down during the covid lockdowns and rose again when in-person school resumed. More suicides attributed to bullying and school-related stress than from lockdowns.

Not if you’re a DCUM member child.

17. She stabbed 17 people, not 12.

And so far, none have died. If she had used a gun, it would be a different story.

Women can’t shoot. The casualties would have been lower.

You’re an islamophobe. This attack had nothing to do with Muslims.
