Engineering in any school will be lot harder than Business ( who the ***k does business in undergraduates but loudmouths with questionable cerebrum) no wonder these slicks wander around in pre professional attire but deep down they know they are hollow and faking it…( typ whartonites ) |

No matter what kind of school it is, once you understand how the admissions process works and see that many white-collar criminals and corrupt politicians come from that school, its prestige disappears.
I believe prestige should be given to the students, not the school. The reality is that many excellent people go to various schools for many different reasons. Instead of obsessing over the school, support your child so they can grow into a valuable member of society. |
Penn grads are destroying the country. |
| Yeah, business degree is for the smooth brained. What a silly thing to "study", just go and work, lol. |
| Only 2 schools in Boston have prestige Harvard and MIT obviously. BC, BU, and NEU never had and never will. Add in Wellesley College for prestige but very limited customer base. |
So what? The other boston schools are still good schools to attend. |
BC is fairly prestigious and BU is respectable. Not sure about NEU. |
Undergrad at Wharton is generally considered the equivalent of an MBA. Not sure why undergrad business degree would be silly. Their graduates are in demand and are compensated well. |
So are Harvard and Yale grads. |
The Wharton grads i know are getting MBB offers. Good but not amazing. |
In this economy, that is great. Many new grads can't find a job. |
In what world is an MBB offer good but not amazing |
| Just below where my kids go to college. |
You sound like working at Walmart as a cashier. |
Not at the same level of destructiveness. |
