I find it in poor taste--but I find a lot of things Trump does in poor taste. I think a lot of things that Biden did were in poor taste, Clinton, etc.

I think Trump is embracing the whole Pope thing to "be funny" and also his team and Republicans distract from Trump calling for Democrats to be expelled from Congress.

Yes. Catholics that vote for Trump don't seriously think that he cares about abortion or the pope or the Bible. They know he does not and that he uses these issues to get votes and sells the Bibles to get money. And they don't care about his sinning and sacrilege.
