In a news clip Trump stated that he would like to be the next Pope. Followed by Lindsey Graham tweeting his support for this lunacy:

So this is obviously to distract from whatever real damage the administration is doing... But I'm curious at what point do MAGA supporters will not try and spin everything Trump says as a good idea and feel free to criticize him?

If this means he resigns and leaves this country forever, then I support it. He cannot be president and pope at the same time per Article I, Section 9. So Trump for pope!

Ok I LOVE this idea. The Catholic Church can definitely have him. He gets to go live surrounded by all the gold gilt his heart desires, far from us, surrounded by people who literally bow and kneel in his presence. His ability to cause harm not eliminated but sharply curtailed. I am team Pope Trump!!
