That's f*n scary, and clearly this isn't just about anti-semitism. They profiled the dude because he had a Muslim sounding name.

I wonder how the Muslim Americans who said they would not vote for Harris are feeling now. If I were them, I'd be afraid to leave the country.

So, Trump's admin is targeting Muslims and Hispanics, demanding to see their papers. But, they freely welcome in Russians. Hmm.. what's the difference, I wonder. MAGA /s

My husband is a naturalized citizen, but is Egyptian Muslim. He's been a citizen since 1991. He wants to go back to Egypt to visit his ailing mother and I'm terrified about his ability to return. He often gets stopped anyway because of his name. I've seen the difference over how he's treated when I travel with him and when he travels solo.

He has no social media and doesn't get involved in national politics. He actually has a security clearance. He's not a threat. But still, I worry.

extremists and terrorist aliens

I guess that will be the language cited when they begin turning these policies on citizens.

Step 1: Label citizen an extremist
Step 2: CECOT?

Seems unlikely.

But if being hysterical makes you feel better, have at it.

Hysterical? That post is as matter-of-fact and resigned to this ongoing train wreck as possible.

Lol.

Number of US citizens labeled extremists and deported to CECOT to date?

0.

So yeah, I’d say that there’s more than a touch of Chicken Little at play.

Ms Rachel could be in big trouble for her pro-Hamas content. They're pushing to get Bondi involved

Raising awareness and speaking up for children mercilessly being killed by the IDF is being pro-Hamas? Get out of your here with your Islamophobia. You truly have a depraved heart for attacking Ms Rachel with such bogus claims.

Calling for Palestinians to be treated humanely and equally is anti-zionist and therefore anti-semitic. If Palestinians are treated equally to Israelis, then Israel as an apartheid state cannot exist

I feel you. My good friend's DH is a naturalized citizen from North Africa, has security clearance, and travels frequently for work. We all worry about him. Another good friend's DH is a Brit who is hurriedly getting his US citizenship after decades of having a green card and starting two successful businesses in the US because he is afraid of how he will be treated by the government.

No legal immigrant should have to worry about being targeted, harassed, or worse by our government. We are a country of immigrants.

If you are speaking out against genocide, more than likely you're on some list and they will do everything to make you suffer the consequences if you're not a born citizen.

It's not bc Jews are "more special" than other minority groups, just a reflection of the current moment. Obviously you can be critical of Israel and not be anti-Semitic, but that line can also be blurred. Hostile foreign actors don't really care ima out the nuance, they just want to further stoke domestic division. And a new immigrant, especially if they come from a place where actual jew-hatred is perfectly mainstream, is currently an ideal target.

Then why don't they monitor Russians' social media activity more? You know they are trying to destroy the US from the inside out, and they are doing a fine job of it with Trump in power.

There was that Russian woman who was basically a spy for Putin who gained entry into MAGA Trump's orbit. IMO, they need to ban all Russians coming in.

Look a little more carefully into that. The former ceo of overstock has written about how the FBI was using him to frame her.

Because I’m a Jew and we don’t need to be importing Jew haters.

You are so short-sighted. If you lie down with dogs, don't be surprised if you wake up with fleas.
You are aligning yourself with Trump's agenda to severely restrict freedom of speech in the hope that this will save you and your tribe. You do not yet realize or grasp that Trump could easily turn the screws on you as soon as Netanyahu does something to upset Trump, or as soon as the Saudis offer a better deal. You've been warned....

Let's be clear.
They will do everything to make you suffer the consequences even if you're a born citizen.
Trump is weaponizing government to punish even government employees doing mundane work as directed.

Immigrants are getting hit harder sooner only because they have fewer protections.

I don't blame you and, sadly, the likelihood of his being detained or refused entry is 100% with the ICE going squad.

I was going to ask where the Torah says that invading a nation and killing the natives is a defining aspect of Judaism, but then I remembered that it's in the middle of Deuteronomy.

Well, I'm Asian American, and we don't need to import Asian haters. My neighbor is black, and we don't need to import black people haters.

So, where's the monitoring for that?

Don't be daft, Asians and Blacks didn't bankroll his campaign, with Trump you get what you pay for.

So Trump is a Nazi who is :checks notes: controlled by the invisible Jewish hand.

Please get some therapy.

Bro do you even AIPAC or Sheldon Adelson?

Funny how this theory applies to Palestinians but not to Russian operatives
