They are blasting across social media all the great recruiting support they have at the club, meanwhile their current players have never seen any of the ‘Union recruiting tools/sheets’ the club is patting themselves on the back about and boosting online.

There is no proactive recruiting program despite all the posts.

Beyond that club has had nothing going on since February. And quite frankly they did not really practice in January either so this is now going back 4 -5 months with minimal activity.

Club didn’t opt into Mid Atlantic cup like every other local club chose to do, and has total of 2 practices a week.

Where is all the money going for the past four months?

What do the posts even mean? They talk about staff connecting with colleges. Does that mean that they had a conversation with that college about players? Is that really worth posting? Are they only having one conversation every two weeks?

They are obviously working very hard to connect with elite programs for their players. How was this negative?
that don’t especially on boys side. False promises.

Yeah, I think FVU might be able to get your kid into clown college.

Florida State University has "FSU High Flying Circus" program. You are still giving some of these people false hope.

How is it even possible for the only ECNL club in Fairfax County to lose all 12 games in a weekend?

I have a U12 at one of the FVU feeder clubs. What is going on with this club? From what I have seen there is not a lack of talent in this area. Are the coaches having trouble getting the boys to play as a team? Did the coaching staff make poor choices as to who should make the team or not? Do some boys choose to play on RL or MLS next 2 elsewhere rather than join FVU? It’s hard to understand how teams can consistently perform poorly when they are theoretically getting to choose among some of the best players in the area.

There have also been coaches who added their sons to their team rosters. This would be fine if the player had the skills and talent, or if the player was riding the bench and filling in when needed. But this player did not have the talent and was being put in as a starter. Better players watched from the bench as he was being outclassed during most matches and games lost due to his play. It really lost the faith players and parents had in the coach.

yep there was a coach hired (who was a former player of GM) immediately put his son on roster and played him. Team was stocked with talent, but that kid lost them games. This pissed off alot of kids.

How many of the girls who left LS are now disappointed in being at UNION? At least you got to stay with a ECNL program.
