It might be fine in concept but the reality will be much different. Do you really want a bunch of Congressional members who don’t live here and who weren’t elected by DC residents to run the city? They don’t care about any of us. They’ll just implement whatever’s on the MAGA platform (I’m assuming the majority of those involved would be Republicans). I’m not happy with the way our city is run at all but I do not believe for a second that Congress would be any better.
