Breakup over the orange one

The bigger problem is people who are ultra-right or left. Who wants to be married to someone that either obsesses about politics or religion. That alone is a big red flag. Everyone can vote in 4 years.

I am a liberal and voted for Trump this time because of the issues he speaks to. I cannot stand him as a man or person but on crime and the border something needed to be done. I will confess that someone close to me was a victim of violent crime from a repeat offender.

My advice to the OP drop the rhetoric it is failing our party. You call him a fool that does not to advance our cause. He is anything but a fool. Biden could barely speak and I dont want anyone calling him a fool. We lost for a reason. Either we learn or we keep losing.

I don't know, Trump said we wouldn't have to vote again after this election.

My spouse is a liberal, always has been. I used to be a R, now Independent.

In the past, we have voted for opposing candidates. That was fine. We respect each other enough.

But, Trump is a whole different animal. He is not a R. He's a populist who stokes racism, sexism, and just general hatred for anyone who doesn't agree with the MAGA base.

So, yea, I would have serious issues if my spouse, R or otherwise, supported Trump.

Thankfully, we both agree that he's a danger to this country and an awful human being.

Also, I'm the wife.

Agree, we are both moderates right and left so we’ve often voted differently and that’s been fine. But Trump is a different animal. If my husband was a big Trump supporter I’d have a big problem.

Harris lost because people were voting irrationally. You are just one example of this.

You don't need to "obsess" to reject people who support crooked rapists.

Oh my goodness you are delusional - read the New York Times and see what the polls show or keep telling yourself its delusional voters and see the Republicans keep the House Senate and WH. Your ego is the problem. Admit we (Harris) were wrong on almost all important issues or do not complain about the fool orange man. The PP is correct keep rhetoric out of it. It is the sign of a low intelligence and inability to discuss in adult terms the substantive issues of the day. But keep telling yourself whatever makes you feel that you are not the “fool” as your ego and pride will destroy our country.

Seventy-one percent said that no one under 18 should be prescribed puberty-blocking drugs or hormones.

Most Americans say the United States has ignored serious problems at home while entangling itself in costly conflicts abroad, the poll found. A majority believe the government is sending too much money to Ukraine.

A vast majority of Americans — 87 percent — support deporting undocumented immigrants with a criminal record, which Mr. Trump has said would be one of the first orders of business he carries out.

You are clearly mentally ill and most men don’t want to deal with that so….. how big do you think your dating pool will realistically be post divorce?

Half the dating pool? Only like 30% of Americans voted for the felon. So there’s majority of men didn’t vote for a convicted rapist and racist. But, keep telling yourself you have to be with that kind of man.

It’s 56% for divorced men. Facts are difficult for Democrats.

Shocking that divorced men voted for a twice divorced man who had an affair with a porn star while his wife was pregnant.

Men don’t care about that.

Women voted for him too lol. Women don't care about that as well.

Women didn't care that Kamala's hubby got the nanny pregnant lol. They portrayed him as this great feminist man lol

I said they voted "irrationally". Nothing you posted disputes that.

Nearly equal number of college-educated men voted for each candidate (49 percent of their votes went to Harris and 48 percent to Trump).

OK, then please tell me how they voted irrationally the poster that put this out there put some specific facts on there and I am also a Democrat most people that I love in the DC area are Democrats. But your answer does nothing to substance. It does not talk about the substance of the issues. It’s again rhetorical line. Please tell us why you made that statement and how it is correct because it is not.

I'll be fine with any political leaning but anyone who is a dedicated follower of any politician, is a no go. Same goes for celebrities, fine to like a player or musician's talent but being fan is just unstable.
