If going to FL, make sure to check storm surge maps. Not all coastline is the same. Palm Beach and Broward counties, for example, are far less susceptible to storm surge than Miami, Naples, Tampa Bay, etc.
If you vote blue, the politics are depressing (and only getting more depressing), but things could change over the next 4 years. Florida appears to be entering another one of its bust cycles, so you’ll likely be able to find a deal if you wait a bit. |
