Vibrant US beach community w/in 90 mins of airport and access to healthcare

Hilton Head. Jackconville area beaches, Miami up to Palm Beach.

What about the Charleston area beaches?

My friend’s mom is near Charleston and is not happy with healthcare

I agree with St Augustine. Another thought, if a 4 season climate is acceptable, consider Guilford or Branford, CT. Yale docs/hospitals very close by, and multiple airports within 90 minutes.

Norfolk VA. Very affordable no need to bid thousands over ask.

Carlsbad CA (near San Diego/La Jolla), if you want mild weather and don't mind cold ocean water.

South Bay LA County—Hermosa, Manhattan or Redondo Beach.

Are you referring to Casa De Manana? We always walk by it when visiting family in that area and my mom says (only half-joking) that’s where she wants us to stick her 😂.

I doubt trauma is the concern.

Go to a Florida hospital (any) and sit in the waiting room for a few hours and it will stop you from thinking about moving to Florida. No one moves to Florida for the good healthcare.

OP wanted to be 90 minutes from an airport. You can’t reliably get that from the DE beaches, even off-season.

Most healthcare is not accessed via hospital.

Trauma is for heart attacks and strokes. What do you think it’s for?

The big Air Force base isn’t too far, so there’s a community of retired Air Force families, too, which leads to lots of services for retired families within a 45 minute drive

Climate change makes the gulf pretty unappealing. The storms are only to get worse.

Climate change makes North Carolina and Tennessee unappealing too.

Sadly, lots of communities in those states suffered more devastation from the last hurricane aftermath than communities in Florida did.

Climate change is a consideration for every home purchase. Find a climate refuge for your family. Nothing has or will be done to mitigate it and it will get increasingly worse. What has been predicted is happening.

I worry about capacity of doctor’s offices and hospital because it has been growing so rapidly.
