In New York, he was found guilty of falsifying business records, aka fraud. His sentencing hearing was delayed and now prosecutors are open to delaying sentencing until after his presidential term is ended.

False. He has not been sentenced yet but "conviction" just means "finding of guilt." He was found guilty, he has been convicted. The only way to undo that is for the conviction to be overturned on appeal. Sentencing is a separate proceeding and does not impact conviction.

He could also be pardoned and that would remove the "convicted felon" label but in the present day he is a convicted felon.

You are twisting legal technicalities to get to the conclusion you desire (that Trump is not a convicted felon) because of some technical rules about when a person convicted of a crime may begin the appeals process. But this is a bad faith argument, arguing backwards from a preferred conclusion.

Trump has been convicted of felonies. He is a convicted felon. If you want to caveat that with "but he has not yet been sentenced and his conviction is not fully entered as a judgment until sentencing occurs," fine -- more info is good. But you cannot argue whether or not he is a convicted felon. He was convicted of a felony. Words have meanings and that's what those words mean.

Yesterday's meetings were mere confirmation from the Senate GOP that his lack of experience would doom him more than some tantalizing report about sex with minors and drug-fueled parties (because let's face it, the MAGA world, including the head of MAGA doesn't give two shits about it). No, they're not going to release the congressional ethics report. The Republicans have no reason to, and it would contradict their rationale for withholding it.
