Vivek Ramaswamy as AG? |
But you voted for Trump? LOL! |
Reason: His nomination got too old. |
I think he would be nominated to macro Rubio's seat. |
+1 It was his punishment for the McCarthy BS. Everyone wanted him out. This was never going to come to fruition. |
It is true. You are twisting legal technicalities to get to the conclusion you desire (that Trump is not a convicted felon) because of some technical rules about when a person convicted of a crime may begin the appeals process. But this is a bad faith argument, arguing backwards from a preferred conclusion. Trump has been convicted of felonies. He is a convicted felon. If you want to caveat that with "but he has not yet been sentenced and his conviction is not fully entered as a judgment until sentencing occurs," fine -- more info is good. But you cannot argue whether or not he is a convicted felon. He was convicted of a felony. Words have meanings and that's what those words mean. Also, I beg of you, stop getting legal knowledge from Reddit or like solo legal practioners using MAGA click bait to boost their score in Google algorithms. |
He WILL BE nominated to Rubio's seat ... no doubt about it. I think the AG was a hail mary ploy, knowing very well it had a low probability of occurring. Yesterday's meetings were mere confirmation from the Senate GOP that his lack of experience would doom him more than some tantalizing report about sex with minors and drug-fueled parties (because let's face it, the MAGA world, including the head of MAGA doesn't give two shits about it). Given that his qualifications were in question, he backs down, knowing that FL will need a Senate filler and guess what folks, you've now moved him from the lower chamber to the upper chamber. Who's coming out on top here??? Certainly not the Dems! (Or bullshit CNN media personalities who can't figure out a power play. That's the problem with the left--y'all are not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to a game of chess.) |
It was not that deep. |
No, they're not going to release the congressional ethics report. The Republicans have no reason to, and it would contradict their rationale for withholding it. |
Emotion over logic clouds the brain. They lack any critical thinking skills. Trump could appoint Eric Holder to the AG and these clowns would cry from the roof tops. |
He'll go for Rubio's seat. |
