Lots of men are in jail fir this behavior.
Particularly Black men. |
The "two-tiered justice system" is real. |
This isn't a smear, and normal people do not hire underage prostitutes. Doing drugs is illegal and a firing offense in most jobs. Seriously, can Florida not find a hard-working, non-felon to represent them? Are those Soring Break movies documentaries? |
Let alone being nominated for Attorney General. The defenses of him and his nomination are beyond absurd. |
This. And those of you who think this okay behavior and everyone is doing it, really need to check your ethics and morals I’m going to bet you are the same people going to church every Sunday and telling everyone what upstanding Christians you are You are the people who turn a blind eye to Trumps questionable and despicable behavior But yeah, you probably laugh when he makes fun of handicapped people or wants to grab a woman by the pussy. Because he’s just being a boy, right? |
+1 It is a sad day where behavior that would get any president or CEO of a company fired is deemed acceptable for a member of congress. And no, I don't excuse Bill Clinton either, always thought he was a sleazebag too. |
+1 This has nothing to do with party politics. Or it shouldn't. This behavior isn't defensible in a civilized society, so if you're defending it, you're announcing you aren't fit to live amongst people with actual morals, not just once you can weaponize through your so-called Christianity. |
Trump has blunted many people’s sense of proper behavior and has coarsened our culture and politics. |
No. It’s not. I’m appalled by this report. I hope he’s charged with crimes. And things like bringing drugs and prostitutes onto federal property might be chargeable. But statutory rape is a state crime. And what constitutes statutory rape varies by state. The federal government doesn’t have a statutory rape law, as far as I know. So it’s a state crime and FL would have to prosecute(spoiler alert they won’t). And Trump won’t let the DOJ charge him with a federal crime. And the statute of limitations will have run before Trump is out of office. He won’t dace any criminal consequences. One would hope his political career is over. But this is FL, so he’ll probably run for Rick Scott’s Senate seat and win. |
Because Florida. |
That doesn't answer the question of why it's not a good idea to ask a state AG why she didn't pursue state charges against a Florida state resident for state crimes he committed while in her state while she was AG, seeking to become AG of the United States. Why is that not a good idea to ask her at her confirmation hearing? |
Does AOC advocate for minors being involved in legal sex work? For hard drugs being legal— and used by Congressmen on federal property? I’m a Fed, and I could lose my not that high security my not that high security clearance for using medical marijuana while not on duty in a state where it’s legal. That’s the standard most federal are held to. |
Using pot in a state where it’s legal is a fireable offense for federal employees. |
Sorry. Misread. I thought the question was asking her if she would charge him with statutory rape if she became the US AG. I’d imagine she didn’t charge him as FL aG because nobody officially knew (because no one wanted to know…). |
How many women pay for sex? |
