brilliant move guys! |
If he was too egregious even for Trump it must’ve been something. |
Senators told him no go. |
"Trump chose Gaetz almost on a whim aboard his plane last Wednesday after his advisers had deadlocked on other choices, particularly Andrew Bailey, the attorney general of Missouri, and the lawyer Robert Giuffra. Gaetz’s selection was pushed heavily by Boris Ephsteyn, Trump’s legal adviser who has helped stock his Justice Department at the top levels." - NYT Maggie Haberman
This is the Trump advisor who put him up for the post. Hard to deny Russian influence when it's literally working side-by-side the incoming president. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boris_Epshteyn |
haha would you though? |
Maybe he just didn’t want the report to come out and they decided to release it? |
I think this is it. The report was damning. |
He still won. He resigned this term. He'll be sworn in again in January |
he won't do that. If he does the ethics committee report will come out. Really makes me wonder just how damning that report was... |
That's my guess too. He quit Congress to avoid the report coming out, but someone on the ethics committee must have told him that as long as he's in a political position they'd release it. So now he can ride off into the sunset with his crimes un-publicized. |
I thought Trump was going to push his nominees through. Surprised he didn't call him a sucker. |
.5 on the Scaramucci scale |
I guess. We all seem to have a decent idea of what was involved. |
He’s the start of Federal downsizing. |
That report had to have been pretty damn bad. |
