Mass Deportation: this is going to be expensive

I'm sure the voters will be happy to pay for it.

You can try to get rid of the Second Amendment, do your best.

People say they want the country to be safer. That would do it. Won't happen in my lifetime though, unfortunately. But I've already bought my retirement home where I don't have to worry about it, so in 5 years I really don't care what happens here anymore.

You hate the freedom and right the constitution gives to America citizens to own guns. Enjoy your retirement.

Yes, I think that amendment is outdated with today's technology. I hate the mass shootings, and that kids have to do active shooter drills starting in kindergarten. It's only going to get worse as weaponry advances. And yes, I will, thank you.

- but you still voted for two people who both boasted about owning automatics. Brilliant logic there, PP.

Moron.

That’s a great point. Kamala and Tim both own guns. And democrats happily voted for them?

Was there another candidate? I just prefer to live in a country where gun ownership is not necessary.

Many, dare I say say most Democrats are not opposed to safe legal gun ownership. They are just opposed to the idea that every American needs to have an arsenal of every gun known to man at their disposal. They also think their should be some restrictions related to things such as mental health, violent offenders etc.

We need to get them out of our schools and keep them out. Illegal immigrants (who generally can’t speak English and are often illiterate even in their native language) are just too expensive. It’s one of the big things destroying public education in this country.

Public education is being destroyed by low expectations, grade inflation, helicopter parents, unions and the politicisation of public education. Adding illiterate ESOL students is only one part of the problem.

Best way is to give insensitive for self deportation.
Insensitive could be expedited processing time once you go back.
I think a lot of people will take it with the right insensitive.

What country is it unnecessary to own a gun in?

Gun ownership is not mandatory in the US. Gun ownership is not a requirement to live in the US.

I don’t understand why people think Americans should discard rights because they don’t like them. They are rights, for everyone. If you don’t like the right, just personally decline. Don’t think everyone should give up rights just because you don’t want them.

Just because I was born American does not mean I have to agree with everything in the constitution.

And in fact, crime goes up because costs go up because a lot of the goods and services we enjoyed that were dependent on their labor goes up...

Define crime. Because coming in illegally is a crime. Driving around without insurance is a crime. Working without a valid i9 and not paying state and federal income tax is a crime. Skipping out on hospital bill payments is a crime. Stealing identities and social security numbers so you can work is a crime. You are on,y looking at a fraction of crimes illegal immigrants commit if you think murders are all that matters.

I bought a brand new car and was hit in less than a week after getting it. The guy who got out to look basically spoke zero English and high tailed it out of there, probably because he had no insurance and was undocumented. Now I, as a law abiding citizen, get screwed because I had to pay to fix everything and my insurance went up because I was hit by an undocumented migrant who had no insurance and broke even more laws by hit and running.

You are an a**.

You simply assume that a brownish criminal is undocumented. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

+1 The same thing happened to me. A non-english speaking man sideswiped my car in a starbucks drive through of all places. We both got out and I simply stated he hit my car. He walked back to his truck and fled. Fantastic.

Imagine a man rapes and kills your daughter instead of damaging your car? We need the border secured. Trump has a mandate to do that now, and he will.

Anyone who wants to take their daughter to a foreign country to be raped and killed by a legal citizen of that country- feel free. Take your car along and let it be hit into and crumpled up, too.

You too are an a**. All odf this conclusion jumping.

We can’t take care of American citizens, why are we letting people from other countries come to our country against our laws, and taking care of them?

We have the money to deport illegal immigrants and secure our border.

Lol. Would love to see a citation for this. Of course you won't be able to provide one and will scream "cry more liberal" when asked.

It’s not. Undocumented immigrants pay $96B in taxes annually at all levels to offset benefits.

Let’s fine Walmart for underemployment of its workers, who use benefits disproportionately.

Let’s fine white plumbers and electricians and severs who don’t report all their income.

Illegal immigrants cost the states and fed govs over 150 billion annually.

The FAIR study, released in March last year, documented the financial toll of illegal immigration on the U.S., taking into account factors like emergency medical care, incarcerating illegal aliens in local jails, and federal budgets that pay out billions in welfare every year, pegging the net annual cost at $150.7 billion.

Arriving at the figure by subtracting the estimated $32 billion of tax contributions made by illegal immigrants, FAIR said the economic impact would have otherwise been $182 billion. In 2017, the U.S. spent roughly $116 billion on illegal immigration, suggesting that the problem is a growing one.

You need to include the value of the labor and how much they spent here in order determine what it "cost".

Correct. But also you should not want to take away the rights of other Americans based on your opinion. Don’t they get their opinion too? Or does just your opinion matter?

What country are you retiring to that is so incredibly safe and crime free that guns are completely unnecessary?
