Thanks for posting! Had fun watching it again. So freaking funny.

So funny!!! My kids watched it and school too… math and history.

Nate Baergatze did a standup special during the pandemic that was fall in the floor funny. Amazingly, it was totall PG rated. I didn’t realize that when I watched it (I was on a pandemic standup binge) but ended up rewatching with my kids. The greatest average American. The part on new math is really great for anyone who has had ES kids or been one on the past 10 years.

Seeing him on SNL made me watch all his standup. He's great! Hope he becomes a recurring guest every year!

I can't wait 1+ weeks for the John Mulaney/Chappelle Roan combo, hurray!

I think it's highly likely Bargatze is getting a sitcom. He said something in an interview with Seth Myers recently that made me think there was something in development -- he's working on a book right now and while discussing that he mentioned that he is working on finding more ways to bring his comedy to more people including kids. To me that likely means some kind of family-friendly TV show. Which I think would be great. He also talked about how his comedy is intended to be something you can watch with your 7 yr old and your grandma and not feel uncomfortable but that you will all find really funny. That's so spot on and definitely a genre of comedy that has been lacking in recent years.

I think the fact that he's hosted SNL twice in the last year is a good sign and we're likely going to get a lot more of him soon. Who knows maybe Lorne is going to produce a sitcom with him.

That would be wonderful! He makes me laugh every day with his Instagrams!

I hope they give him good material though -- I don't think they made the most of Ariana Grande's skills (which she does have! she's a talented impressionist and obviously a great singer and dancer -- they wasted her with weak skits).

Yes, they figure she'll be on again, she's young and she'll earn those skits with seniority

This was her third time hosting.

Maybe she needs to host three more times for the good skits??

Emil Wakim has the confidence and charisma to make it. His weekend update bit was really good.

I did go see the Saturday Night movie and really enjoyed it.

Can't wait to see what they do with Trump's stupid music fest at the rally this week.

I love that they just rolled clips. It reminded me of Sara Palin when Fey would just, verbatim, repeat Sara Palin's nonsense.

They can't write it much crazier than Trump's actual words and actions.

Weird that the actor trump is a huge improvement on actual trump in terms of looks, mannerisms & personality, not to mention the things they actually say. And Biden is written as a slobby dope ( hilariously).

Alec Baldwin was funny as Brett Baier. He and Maya Rudilph had great timing with each other.

And Maya Rudolph is amazing as Kamala but they do nothing to soften her features a bit to look more like the better looking Kamala.
Baldwin was spot on Brett.

The “Two Doctors” segment featuring the Menendez Brothers had me in stitches!

Maya sometimes sounds like Kamala and sometimes not. Needs to work on it.

Last week’s show, first half great, second half and news segment disappointing.

The political ones are super cliched, try too hard, and are not very funny IMO but some of the skits are funny. My favorite recent ones are TikTok, Washington's Dream, and Bridesmaids Speech.

+1 Same with Amy Poehler portraying Hillary Clinton and her desperate hunger for power. Hilarious!!
