“Let’s move over to President Trump’s lovely wife, Melania,” indicating an empty space at the contestants’ table. After a pause, he added, “Oh, she ain’t here.”

“It’s so strange,” “I could have sworn she was standing right beside me two years ago.”

+1 Hilarious! As was Kamala answering a question by saying she was raised middle class by a single mother

Didn't even know that show was still around. I remember it in the 1980s, was funny then, but by the mid 1990s it went to crap. Thought it finished up around early 2000s.

You just got old

for real, in the early to mid 90s you had Farley, Sandler, Norm, Spade, Nealon, and Myers.

Then, later in the 90s, you had Ferrell, Morgan, Shannon, and Hammond

You could argue that the 90s was the strongest decade of that show

And Phil Hartman spanning 89s-90s. Miss him.

He’d have been a brilliant Biden.

Have only seen the Stevie Nicks clips so far. We rewatch a few eps at a time on peacock

I watch for Bowen. And now Maya too. It’s so good to see her.

And what do you keep in your glove compartment? Kamala answered: A big old Glock!

I think this season has been very funny. It's too bad they don't have someone better at impersonating Trump. I heard a rumor they asked Shane Gillis but he understandably turned it down. Too bad because his Trump impersonation is even better than Alec Baldwin.

I might be in the minority but I don't think Dana Carvey is a very good Biden.

There have been a lot of silly skits that have been funny. The episode with Nate Bargatze was especially funny.

Really? What kind of media do you consume that you were unaware of SNL’s existence beyond 2005? There’s always a thread here, people share clips on social media, etc.

And there was just a whole movie about SNL’s origins that got lots of press.

That prior PP is pretty ignorant.

This weeks episode was great - the entire season has been good so far

It’s just the music acts I can’t get behind …felt kind of bad for Stevie

I love the political cold opens so far this season. I’m old, and watched it in its heyday in the late 70s and early 80s as a teen. Now I watch clips on YouTube. Because, obviously, I can’t stay up that late anymore.

I did go see the Saturday Night movie and really enjoyed it.

The Oasis Gallagher Brothers sketch on Weekend Update was stupid and hilarious.

I love Stevie Nicks energy, but her voice is struggling.

Ariana Grande's opening monologue was great. Her Celine Dion impression was amazing. She's a good sport and I was pleasantly surprised by her performance overall - big theater kid energy, but she nailed it for someone who isn't a comedian by training. The writers played to her strengths.

Ariana did a great job - her expressions and comedic timing. But the writing was not great on this or the past few episodes.

Did you watch the Beavis and Butthead skit from last season?

It was the stupidest thing I've ever seen and I laughed so hard. It was actually refreshingly stupid. So much political comedy is so depressing (looking at you, John Oliver), it was so nice to laugh at something that was just plain silly

Can't wait to see what they do with Trump's stupid music fest at the rally this week.
