What kind of badass is your husband that you think he would make a massive difference if someone broke into your house?

I make sure all doors and windows are locked, and everyone is taught to shut and lock every door and window after they open it. Basic urban living 101. My dh is awful with this, because he grew up in a low crime area.

Also, get a dog, and not a friendly golden retriever. I also use an air cleaner as white noise in my bedroom.
