Did you enjoy the 80s more than the 90s? Which would you rather go back to?

Ugh. No. He was such a BS-er. Give me the 90s and the Clinton years. Computers but not the internet of today and no social media. Past the Cold War years but before 9/11.

good riddens to the Brett and Squi days.

Yet, somehow I made it through both decades without either.

1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys didn't, congrats you won the family/neighbor/priest lottery.

Sex abuse and harassment didn't magically disappear. Congrats if you haven't dealt with it in the last 24 years though.

No one said that it's disappeared, they're saying that things have gotten better. And they have. Why does that offend you?

Why does it offend you that people enjoyed the 80s or 90s?

Why Does it offend you to point out that sexual abuse is rampant during that time and nobody had consequences?

You are derailing a conversation.

1980s for me.

I was in my 20s in the aughts. I would 100%, hands down still go back to the 90s. I'd even take the 80s I barely remember in a pinch.

Yep. I was high school & college student in the 90s. It was the best decade. The 2000s had 9/11 and it all went downhill from there

90s was after the fall of the Berlin Wall and a new era

Only if your parents were fear mongers and had mental health issues.

It doesn't. I just pointed out that there's less sexual harassment. You're really trying to turn this into something it's not.

Are you nuts? In what possible sense was any time post-9/11 the “Golden age of travel”?!

Because it was cheap and hostel culture was a lot better.

The American Dream was still intact in the 80s.

Yea, for Britney and Carter over on Lakeshore Drive. Not for Chuck down in Hamtramck.

During the eighties, EVERYTHING was just bigger, louder and inherently better!!

I was in high school then and life was so much fun!

If only I could have just one more day of that decade….!

I'm 56 and spent the 80s in high school and college. Such great times - and music!

Also, getting to grow up before social media.

I really do wish my own kids could have grown up without it too.

90s were a really good time in so.many ways. I pick 90s over 80s.

Can I have my current self worth ? If yes absolutely. The 90s were still pretty sexist. I’d like to have my 90s body and youthful heart and my 2024 experienced common sense. The pairing would be gorgeous. The 90s were very fun and a bit more innocent.
