Did you enjoy the 80s more than the 90s? Which would you rather go back to?

Better to be old than to be a millennial
to be fair millennials are now 40 so not exactly the fountain of youth.

Apparently is it because everyone thinks we're 25 for life.

NP. Getting to enjoy the 80's, worth it!

Omg yes! I feel bad that my kids will never know what real fun is.

So it wads pretty bad of you to have kids, yeah? Poor things.

80s were ok but they were really preparing for the awesome 90s and early 2000s

Still didn't get to be teens during the magical era of pre-internet and pre-helicopter parents. And yes, 90's parents were helicopter parents too despite the term not being coined yet.

Yeah, boomers really f**ked up

Early to mid 00s. Had access to the internet but it wasn't super pervasive. Golden age of travel. People becoming more accepting of differences. Less discrimination. Better food.

good riddens to the Brett and Squi days.

Yet, somehow I made it through both decades without either.

I was a full-fledged adult back then, and I was just as addicted to the internet then as I am now. Probably even more so, because there were many more entertaining message boards back then that have now been replaced with lame substitutes like Reddit, Twitter, and FB groups.

And 90s. Need anymore help?

80s were fear of mutual mass destruction. I knew where every fallout shelter was

90s was after the fall of the Berlin Wall and a new era

If I could go back in time today. Maybe the early 90s. Gosh, I miss so much of that time period or the feeling I get looking back.

Isn't that a song or part of a song?

1980s for me.

I was in my 20s in the aughts. I would 100%, hands down still go back to the 90s. I'd even take the 80s I barely remember in a pinch.

My DH was raised by the Silent Generation and he and his siblings were born then. His parents were on the old side, but not atypical. My parents were Boomers and on the young side as parents and the only part of the 80s I remember is my intense love of a particular pair of jelly shoes.
