Did you enjoy the 80s more than the 90s? Which would you rather go back to?

Both?

I had so much fun in high school and college in the 80s, but then I got to have NYC as my playground in the 90s. Such good times, all of them.

good riddens to the Brett and Squi days.

Yet, somehow I made it through both decades without either.

1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys didn't, congrats you won the family/neighbor/priest lottery.

Sex abuse and harassment didn't magically disappear. Congrats if you haven't dealt with it in the last 24 years though.

No one said that it's disappeared, they're saying that things have gotten better. And they have. Why does that offend you?

As opposed to what? Not getting old? No thanks, I want to live to see retirement, my adult kids, my grandchildren, and if I'm really lucky, my great-grandchildren.

Hi, Bethenny!

That was Bethenny Frankel’s tagline in the early years of RHONY - “New York City is my playground.”

How was that the golden age of travel? I traveled around the world in the ‘90s, and didn’t have to take off my shoes at security, could bring water through security, and didn’t feel the fear all around that we did in the months and years after 9/11.

Why does it offend you that people enjoyed the 80s or 90s?

If I could go back in time today. Maybe the early 90s. Gosh, I miss so much of that time period or the feeling I get looking back.

Isn't that a song or part of a song?

If I could TURN BACK TI-IME!

Thanks, Cher.

Why Does it offend you to point out that sexual abuse is rampant during that time and nobody had consequences?

Is that supposed to be an insult?

I was a teen in the 80s and college/law student in the 90s. There was so much to love about both decades (especially the music.) But what I feel most nostalgic for I didn’t even appreciate at the time: the lack of internet, phones in everyone’s hands, too much meaningless information pumped into your head all day long.

We couldn’t foresee the changes that were coming, and we will never get those times back, and it makes me sad.

Are you nuts? In what possible sense was any time post-9/11 the “Golden age of travel”?!
