But I'm extremely upset by Biden refusing to step aside and circling the wagons. It's not the ethical thing to do. It will materially affect turnout, because Democrats don't like being taken for a ride.

That Jill said that to Biden after the debate and especially how she said it, has been haunting me. She could not infantilize him anymore had she handed him a lollipop afterwards.
And while she did so that poor man stood there with that confused, vacant smile plastered on his face. It really made me sad seeing him like that.

+1 It reminded me of my grandparents as they aged, had ministrokes, and had that slightly confused expression on their faces as they looked at us and answered conversational questions. Heartbreaking.

Psaki explained it in an interview. That’s the crux of it. Kamala is not great.
Biden has a neurological disorder and is losing muscle. He doesn’t look fit or even healthy. He looks frail.
