Breaking: DNC considering moving nomination earlier to squash talks of replacing Biden

Wasn't this a plot line from 'House of Cards'? I think it was either a US Senator or a SCOTUS judge that Kevin Spacey's character realized was senile and being shield from the public by their staffers and handlers? And isn't there investigative reporting suggesting more than a handful of elderly members of congress are taking dementia medication? And of course recently Sen. Feinstein and RBG were obviously incredibly diminished. The point is, this is hardly an isolated occurrence.

I think this happens all the time unfortunately. In our own Montgomery County MD when they made all the members on the Planning Board resign in 2022 few people realized that one of the members had basically been MIA for a while.

Do we do this for every candidate or is this just a double-standard for President Biden?
