So, you refuse to have a real primary, your candidate performs poorly, the voters tell you they don't want this guy, and the party plans to shove him down our throats anyway.

But we're also supposed to belive that this is the most dire election of our lives. If democracy is truly at stake, why are the democrats insisting on running someone so obviously not up to the job? What is going on here?

He can absolutely beat Trump. The truth is he doesn't need to beat Trump because his people are counting the ballots.

It's not the 1950s where the population values honest and competence. Even are recently as 1988, those people ran Biden off because he lied too much. Only with demographic change and a significant decline in media honesty, was the liar granted another chance at national office. Biden is the perfect summary of how far the nation has fallen.

No, there are a few low info, careless Dems that are still supporting the notion of Biden remaining in the race but any Dem with at least half a brain is politely asking Biden to get out of the way. Too much is at stake to worry about hurting Biden's feelings.

Election needs to be postponed, perhaps indefinitely. Supreme Court just ruled that Biden can do it because he has immunity.
