That Jill said that to Biden after the debate and especially [i]how [/i]she said it, has been haunting me. She could not infantilize him anymore had she handed him a lollipop afterwards. 
And while she did so that poor man stood there with that confused, vacant smile plastered on his face. It really made me sad seeing him like that.[/quote]

+1 It reminded me of my grandparents as they aged, had ministrokes, and had that slightly confused expression on their faces as they looked at us and answered conversational questions. Heartbreaking.[/quote]
