Why do people pick on and complain about fat/obese people so much?

It’s literally bankrupting our country. Most of the expensive Medicare/Medicaid issues are obesity related. Everyone should read the glucose Revolution. It would save our country from going over the fiscal cliff we are paddling towards as fast as we can.

People are anti-fat because it's one of the last remaining "obvious issues" that it's socially acceptable to flame. Anti-fat bias has its roots in racism (like most things), and most of the people using fat-shaming would say they weren't racist/hide their racism.

It's bullying we accept here because making people feel shame encourages them to spend money. Diet pills, the fitness industry, crazy expensive weight loss drugs masquerading as "health care"...
