Because these rumors happen way too often. A lot of the clubs that are allegedly moving have been pretty much banned from ecnl.
Why would they let them in now?

The rumors that have been discussed on dcum are CC and BP leaving FCV and SYC going GA…

Depends on what it actually means, the high end is way larger pool in the ECNL. GA top end is very good but much smaller numbers, and the leagues focus seems more on player experience than top end level.

If US Soccer is going to be throwing money behind it and mandates it may change things. I don't think anyone has forgotten very recent history to what US Soccer and the DA did to the girls game. I cannot imagine how that trust gets rebuilt.

Right, and those people are out now. There were very high up people that didn’t want competition with US CLUB SOCCER. No one wanted to lead the charge to create something better than ECNL. I think people are now rising to the occasion

yea, but I feel that ECNL has a much larger lower pool as well (at least in some regions)

yea, but I feel that ECNL has a much larger lower pool as well (at least in some regions)

But the experience for those “lower” level players is really bad in ECNL…like really bad. A big part of sports is confidence.

Right now GA being promoted in US Soccer has been the only shot.

Next it will be ECNLs turn to make a shot.

Rumors might keep the ECNL faithful engaged in the short run but if they don't pan out they'll turn on ECNL quickly.
