why do so many people think all kids are easy / as easy as theirs?!

I have three kids who are by personality totally different, one of which can be difficult. I am suspect of people who have all challenging kids (or all transgender kids, or all ADHD/autistic children, etc.) simply because the statistics in these cases support a nurture issue over biology.

Google “heritability of ADHD” and “heritability of autism” the next time you find yourself being “suspect of” people whose kids all have some type of neurodivergence.
