Why are so many younger men trying to date women 30s and up?

Actually the ones I know date older women because they find women their age vapid and trashy. Do you know many women in their early twenties? They’re a mess, inside and out. |

When I was 24 I dated a couple of divorced women in their late 30s. Why? They were hot and the sex was fun and there was no relationship pressure.
I also dated women my age. Basically, men will sleep with any hot woman that is available. Why overthink this? |

| In my mid 20’s I was a bartender in Georgetown. Mid 30’s/early 40’s girls night out was always a real scene and there was often one there who would linger after the others left. If I wasn’t dating someone I was happy to spend time with them and they were pretty wild women. Many years later I’m very happy that my wife doesn’t do girls night out! |

| The women often make the move. When I was in grad school I gave tennis lessons to make some money and many of my students were women 35-45. Many of them were overly friendly but we had a no fraternization policy. When it was announced I was leaving three of them texted me about getting together and one of them was married. I did take one of them up on the offer and she was quite a dynamo. |

To be fair women have always looked amazing in their 30s and 40s in the 70s too. Doris Day was nearly 40 when she starred in Please Dont Eat the Daisies for example |

| When you are in your 20s, most same age women are assessing you as potential marriage material and that becomes a complicated dynamic. Not true with women 35+. If they show an interest in you their interest in pretty simple - some companionship, fun and sex. |

| I'm 51 and younger guys love talking to me- like late 20's and up. I think it's because I have no agenda and no interest in dating them and just talk to them like their friends do. Women their age are usually trying to find their future husband/ father of their kids, which adds pressure. Plus younger guys think older women "know stuff" in terms of sex. So I get propositioned fairly often. My hard age limit is 40 because going lower than that seems predatory and gross, so when I meet someone who seems cool, I'll introduce them to a younger friend. Or give them career advice or relationship advice if they want it. In return I get to hear what pop culture things are in, which is fun. |
