Mayor Eric Adams - recipient of foreign donations/influence?

Anonymous
Another politically-motivated case by the politicized Biden-Harris DOJ. Adams must have known that they would come after him after he criticized them for creating the border crisis. They bankrupted his city with the border crisis, costing New York taxpayers over $5 billion. This is payback for his criticism of this rotten, corrupt administration.

If you are not from NYC, do not speak about this. WE ALL HATE HIS F***ING GUTS. I assure you, we can both hate what's going on with the influx of migrants and know the mayor and everyone around him is corrupt dogsh*t doing nothing about it. Him speaking out about the migrant situation, didn't mean he actually even tried to make it easier for us taxpayers. You can throw in the fact that he's not listening to communities outraged by him putting MEN'S homeless shelters right next to schools and daycares.

F him. Put him next Diddy in Brooklyn.

Find an actual NYer who'll defend him, instead of tweets from a bunch of outsiders using the migrant thing to defend him. HE is the one who said NYC was a sanctuary city and only spoke out after he realized he was an idiot for saying it when he couldn't handle the mess he encouraged. Stop making excuses for this clown. He did nothing for us. All he did was go places for fundraisers (including a family member of mine who everyone now ridicules for raising money for this a-hole).

+1 But don’t let them have that key.

Bret Stephens should stick to having his head up Netanyahu's a$$ and being a racist Zionist swine who writes about the "diseased Arab mind." I've never see such a garbage journalist get to fail upward like this scum.

If you actually live in NYC and you're defending him, there's something wrong with you. There is no way in hell you could make excuses for what he has done. You're being ridiculous watching what's going on and thinking he was do anything to even alleviate the problems. Where do you live that you can tell yourself he's been good for the city?

AOC calls on Eric Adams to resign
https://www.politico.com/news/2024/09/25/aoc-eric-adams-resign-00181067

NEW YORK — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has called on Mayor Eric Adams to resign amid a flurry of federal investigations and resignations that have embroiled New York City Hall.

The announcement makes Ocasio-Cortez the first member of congress to call for the mayor’s resignation. Seven other city and state lawmakers from New York have called for Adams to step down.

Almost all the elected officials calling for Adams’ resignation, including Ocasio-Cortez, are supported by the Democratic Socialists of America. Adams has often used socialists as a political foil, to emphasize his own brand of politics.

“For anyone who self-righteously claims people charged with serious crimes should not be in jail to now say that the second Black mayor of New York should resign because of rumors and innuendo — without even a single charge being filed — is the height of hypocrisy,” Adams said in a statement, referencing Ocasio-Cortez’s support of controversial bail reform in the state. “I am leading this city to protect it from exactly that kind of phony politics. The people of this city elected me to fight for them, and I will stay and fight no matter what.”

+1 He was shady AF before and immediately starting after he was elected. It has nothing to do with anything he said about migrants.
