Politely I won’t add to this. But yes. In my knowledge not ‘as bad’ / to the degree you suggest. But, sorry, yes

Thats my experience with one.

Why aren’t we talking about the Angie’s? Damn them all to hell.

Every Michelle I’ve known has been loyal, kind, and fun.

As a Jessica I am very confused by this thread.

I know a few Tammys and they are happy hippie farmer girls and I like them.

Too many Amys, Jennifers, and Jessicas to generalize about them, for me.

I'm an Elizabeth and I feel the same!

I have to disagree about Krystal, though maybe it's because she was German. One of the most fun and interesting people I ever met.

Katies are totally suss! Omg. What is with them? Insecure overachievers putting it on the rest of us.

That said, I am a Jessica and I think we’re pains in the ass. We’re not as smart as we wish we were, or as pretty, and we don’t make as much money as our parents. Maybe it’s a Jewish thing. We’re fun, though.

Oh, and totally agree about Lisa’s and Sarahs. Lisa’s were shy little kids who grew into entitled, whiny adults that demand everyone listen to their complaints, and that Sarahs are like lukewarm milk.

There’s too much of a generational divide in this thread to reach consensus. The Gen Xers are referencing Tammy, Amy, Lisa, Karen- millennial Jessicas don’t know those women. Those are our moms and aunts. (Literally- I’m a Jessica whose mom is Lisa. I have an aunt Tammy.) The millennial Jessicas are referencing Megans, Sarahs, Katies and Heathers because that’s who we grew up with.

Meh, I'm on the cusp of Gen X/Millennial, and I grew up with all these women except Tammy, which does feel older to me. I had a friend or classmate with all of these names.

I’m solidly millennial, 1988, I never once had a Tammy or Lisa in any class

Lisa was a top 50 name the year you were born, and in the top 100 until the 90s. Less popular than it was in the 60s and 70s, but still pretty popular.

Tamara and Tammy were ranked a lot lower, but were also never as popular as Lisa. I suspect there's a lot of regional and demographic preference associated with that name. I've never known a Tammy within 15 years of me (born 1980) unless you count the fictional character of Tammy Taylor, who is probably about 10 years older than me.

Every Michelle I’ve known has been a Mean Girl who ultimately got into MLMs and tries to “Hey Hun” the very people she used to torture in high school.

Lisa strikes terror through my heart.

Never met one that wasn't mean as a snake.

Katies tend to not be the most moral people in the world.
