No one born after the year 1970 wishes their name was Jennifer. Even the many, many (statistically, more than any other name) who are named Jennifer.

With Jessica you might have been Jess B. or Jessie to distinguish you from the other Jessica in class. With Jennifer, you were going by a made up nickname to distinguish you from Jennifer, Jennifer B., Jenny, Jennifer Lloyd, Jen H., Jen C., Jen R., Jennifer Sarah, and Jenny Anne.

Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Connelly, Jennifer Hudson, Jennie Garth, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jennie McCarthy, Jennifer Beals (flash dance), Jennifer Grey (nobody puts baby in a corner), Jennifer Coolidge, Jennifer Esposito, Jennifer Tilly, Jennifer O’Neil…

Certainly a lot of stars named Jennifer! Holy cow !

I’m a Jessica. My parents named me for this song! I think I’m a pretty loyal and nice friend. I’m a bit shy though.

For me it’s Tricia’s.

Men named Alex have always been bad news in my experience

Men named Alex are usually know it all’s. What about Chad? They are douchey but pretty.

I’m a Jessica and yes, I do not vibe with Sarahs at ALL.

The name Amanda always struck me as mean or violent or unprofessional. I always see an Amanda in the crime news.

Also what about a crystal? The ones I met had light eyes and averted their gaze. They were also very unprofessional and trashy.

When I think of Jennifer I think of this scene.

I’m a fellow Jessica, I agree with this. Conversely, I get along with all other Jessicas and any form of Megan

Beccas are shallow and fake.

I know I Jessica and a Jess, both are awesome! Can we talk about how spelling matters? Example.. Erica is cool but Erika is always bitchy and Ericka is super meek, wishy washy.

Born 1974. I have a weird name and I pretended my name was Jennifer throughout my childhood. I wanted desperately to be one of them.

I was going to say Crystal! I once worked with two at the same time. They were both THE worst people I've ever had to work with.

One was extremely toxic, back stabbing but she was friends with one supervisor and had the higher supervisor fooled. She was a liar and a histrionic victim player.

The only friend she had in the office was the other Crystal, who was the most obsequious person I've ever met. She spoke very highly of herself but was stupid and did things wrong constantly.

It was a terrible time.

One was Crystal Dawn and the other was Crystal Gayle. So I think it's safe to say moms who name their kids such stupid names probably have a negative affect on their childrens personalities.

The only other Jessica I knew were in high school and at work. They were friendly. Family gave me the nickname Jessica and it does feel like a different personality than my birth name. I'd like to change it and yoyoed with the idea but was told that it would be bad luck to change names.

Elizabeth is a name I have different feelings on. Elizabeth was my best friend in childhood but the high school Elizabeth was a fat teen girl who wanted everyone to think she was the best but she was mean rude and nasty and an envious person. My friend in childhood wasn't that way at all.

I’m a Jessica and I’m worried I’m one of the ones you hate at work. But I don’t think I have a beef with anyone right now so maybe not?

You’re bringing out my paranoia that everyone secretly hates me, so please stop girl…

The name that has caused me tons of trouble in 3 different instances was Heather. Luckily I have a good friend Heather now and it’s made up for all the bad Heathers.
