You are confusing RFK Jr. with his father. It's the parents of RFK (senior) and his brother, JFK, who had their daughter Rosemary lobotomized in 1941 to treat her seizures and erratic behavior issues. Of course, the terrible treatment left her brain damaged and severely disabled for life. RFK Jr. obviously had nothing to do with that, not that I'm supporting him.

The two women were sentenced in Feb to four consecutive sentences of 1-15 years each. The first parole hearing is Dec 2026. At that time the exact length of sentence will be determined. Between now and then, the women will have psychiatric assessments and expected to do programming. Their assessment and progress in the programming they are assigned to will be part of the decision.

The older kids have reestablished a relationship with their father. The oldest son was living with his father for awhile before moving in with some roommates. The father had filed for custody of the younger kids and was seeing them often but the custody case was closed so there is no official information released about custody.

The oldest son posts often on social media but won't discuss the custody of his siblings. He does mention seeing his younger siblings.

My mother was one of nine and those children definitely seem like they were neglected. At the very least emotionally, and one did die of strep throat after the invention of antibiotics.

Went to high school with Jodi. I thought she would eventually come out back then BUT apparently she did not since I’m late to this whole story. She was extremely Mormon in HS and that crowd was openly hostile to gay students. It was terrible. She was an intense girl in HS. And forcing the Franke kids to stand in the sun… this was a common punishment for kids in AZ elementary schools in the 80s. I don’t remember if she went to the same elementary school but I totally remember (and hated) her in high school. I will be watching the Netflix documentary coming out Tuesday.

And actually, it was Joseph Kennedy who made arrangements for that single-handedly. Rose Kennedy was opposed to it and he disregarded her.

I had the feeling that the husband would get back together with the 8 Passengers mom if she would take him. He was not just pathetic but also creepy in his own way. I wouldn't put it past her to use him if it benefited her. I think the two women won't get back together but each will wreak havoc individually in some way or another.
