| Is the father involved? Why are we only hearing about the mother |
The parents were separated. The 2 women were in an intimate relationship. |
Is this true? Link? They were homophobic so I find this unlikely. |
“Ruby Franke, 41, was arrested on Wednesday in Ivins, a city in southern Utah, at the home of Jodi Hildebrandt, her business partner, who was also arrested. Ms. Franke hosted the now-defunct YouTube channel “8 Passengers,” where she posted videos about her parenting approach with her six children, including refusing them food as a form of punishment. Ms. Franke and Ms. Hildebrandt were each charged on Friday with six counts of aggravated child abuse, according to the Washington County attorney’s office.” |

Didn’t know this part! |
The quote says they were business partners. Where did it say they were dating? |
address information/Mormon ward information indicates husband and wife have been separated since last year. |
Where does it say they were dating? I've seen some people on Reddit kind of "sh*tposting" that Ruby and Jodi look and act like lesbian lovers, but it seems to be more tongue in cheek given their religion's anti-gay stance and that both of them have personally said anti-gay stuff. I've never heard anything official about them being in a relationship though (including in your link) - where did you read that? |

utter horrid excuse for a human
duct tape? |
| I’m not seeing anything that says they were in a relationship with each other, the posts I’ve seen say it was a business relationship. |
They live together. Not anymore though- because they horribly abused the children. You think Ruby left her husband and moved in with her “business partner” and then she and her “business partner” tied up the 2 kids with duct tape and starves them and withheld food and water as part of their “business” strategy? cmon now. |
duct tape with deep wounds from it cutting into their limbs. The child who escaped-Russell- also begged for water, as well as food. One of Ruby Franke's neighbors said they saw her kids "pulling weeds" outside in sweltering heat. Franke was living at Jodi Hildebrandt's residence at the time in Ivins, Utah. The neighbor said it was well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, but the kids kept working. Ruby Franke and her business partner Jodi Hildebrandt were arrested at Hildebrandt's home last week, where they were both living with some of Franke's children, after one child, described as emaciated and wounded by officials, escaped from a window and sought help from a neighbor. One neighbor also told NBC News that Franke had kicked out her husband Kevin out of their home last year. Kevin, a former professor at Brigham Young University, has remained mostly out of the public eye since 8 Passengers shut down. https://www.insider.com/ruby-franke-neighbor-says-they-saw-kids-pulling-weeds-outside-2023-9?amp |

“Around the same time Franke stopped posting on "8 Passengers," she started appearing in another video series — ConneXions Classroom.
ConneXions bills itself as a mental health curriculum and counseling service structured around the principles of "impeccable honesty, rigorous personal responsibility and vulnerable humility." The founder of the company, Jodi Hildebrandt, is a therapist who had her license suspended in 2012 after she disclosed a patient's "porn addiction" to his Mormon church leaders, The Salt Lake Tribune reported.“ https://www.npr.org/2023/09/01/1197289217/ruby-franke-utah-youtube-child-abuse How disturbing. |

They were not in a romantic relationship.
Jodi seemed to have sort of brainwashed Ruby. It’s definitely a strange dynamic but they were not having an affair together. |
