Why models and influencers don’t wear bras

I enjoyed being braless back when I was a B cup. I hate bra straps.

I wear my bra all day until bed. Breastfed two kids. Im 46. 34b. No sagging yet, i do have dense breast tissue, which means more challenging mammograms. Ymmv.

34 B but always in a bra. I need lifting and padding!

I’m tired of people societal expectations on women. Men wear shirts with their nipples visible through the material, why can’t women without being sexualized. Look at women’s swimwear, thongs and cheeky cuts are the norm. Men’s swimsuits haven’t changed.

I'm 49 and a C/D on a thin frame and I look about 20 pounds lighter with a supportive bra on---It's an absolute game changer.

I also prefer the feel of a bra so I wear one daily.

Most of being fashionable is having a thin body and proving you can wear things that other people can’t wear without looking terrible. Like 80%.

I am 48 and thought I was 36 b/c bra size. After consulting a helpful reddit 'a bra that fits' I discovered I am 34 D/DD but shallow shaped. I hate bras. I wear them to work and place of worship but at home and on casual errands I go braless with nipple pasties. Breastfed 5 kids a long time each.

I don’t find it to be a flattering look on most people but not because I find it too sexual, I just think most women with medium-large breasts benefit from some a bra that provides a bit of lift and structure. That said, if you find bras uncomfortable, have at it and it is very on trend

I have small breasts and am a 32c but I like the slight lift and shape a comfortable bralette provides. I don’t wear bras with padding, underwire, or those typical uncomfortable bra straps

Because it feels so good! I can't imagine wearing synthetics on such a sensitive area in summer heat. Just returned from a month vacation in Europe and most of the women are topless on the beach. It feels awesome to swim without bra. Men have this experience every time they go for a swim, why we can't?

pierced nipples scream modesty to me, so I’m shocked someone with pierced nipples would consider going bra-less.

Mom in my 30s, A cup. I go without most days. I’ll put one on if the occasion dictates it- but I live a pretty casual life in a fairly hippy/liberal/college town so I don’t worry about being judged

Euro influence?

As a Frenchwoman, I beg to differ. No one I know in my native country fails to wear correct underwear in public.

And no, braless is not a trend. You can live in your own echo chamber if you want, as long as you know you're in one! Seems to be a fundamental truth you have to recognize about yourself. Also rather important for politics...

Maybe no one you know, but Paris is positively rife with braless girls. Some even go to work like that!!
