I would need to have surgery in order to go braless. I'm jealous of those who can pull it off. |
There is nothing that makes me feel dowdier than the sight of myself without a bra. I'm not overweight but my DDs are nowhere near where they were pre-kids. I am so jealous of anyone who can pull off this look. Set them free! |
No, she’s right. Womens swimwear has gotten ridiculous. |
I’m very small chested and I think it’s wildly uncomfortable to go bra less/. The chafing irritates me and even though they are small they ache at the end of the day. One of the camisoles with built in support is okay but otherwise I need as bra! I hate all these shirts and dresses made to wear without bras. I think the clothing companies are just trying save money by skimping on fabric and tailoring. |
Everyone has nipples. Why do yours make you self conscious and why do you care if someone sees an outline? |
I have been in Montreal for two weeks and see a lot of itty bitty titties poking through shirts around town. Some big ones too. |
I think you are getting at one of the points, though. There seem to be more outfits that are designed to be braless. I was out on the West Coast this week and the most popular look was this form-fitting tank top that clearly was designed to be worn braless. The cut of the shirt is such that the sides and back are largely exposed and you get close, but not to, "sideboob". A bra under that would completely stick out. Apologies for the description, I'm a guy who doesn't follow the terminology. And yes, as a guy I always notice. |
As long as all these young people are ok with having their breasts dangling by their belly buttons when they hit 50 or so. Have at it |
+1 And all of these women cheering on their daughters with their supposed :healthy body attitudes”- you only feel this way because your daughters are thin with small breasts. A short, curvy girl with big breasts and a bubble butt going braless will elicit a different opinion. |
That applies to your so-called "proper underwear" trend as well. |
Sexy sells. |
Breasts and bras don’t work that way. |
I have large breast and frequently go with out a bra. |
Oh, please. I just spent the past month traveling around France and your statement is laughable. Younger women were braless everywhere we went. Which looks fine on small-breasted women. But they were most definitely not "wearing correct underwear in public." ![]() |
+1 My teenager is small-chested and can get away with wearing stickies and nothing else when she wears sundresses and strappy tops. Lucky girl! Bras make me so hot and sweaty. |
