Why models and influencers don’t wear bras

Why don’t women in fashion wear bras? Is it the euro influence? I have small chest and could go bra-less but my mother would be horrified.

I have large breasts but if I could go braless I would. So much more comfortable especially in summer.

I’ve pierced my nipples and have since given up wearing bras. Too restrictive, and uncomfortable. Anyone that finds my breasts offensive can mind their own business. I’m tired of people societal expectations on women. Men wear shirts with their nipples visible through the material, why can’t women without being sexualized. Look at women’s swimwear, thongs and cheeky cuts are the norm. Men’s swimsuits haven’t changed.

Well yeah I get that, but I'm answering OP's question. Most models don't have large breasts, so they can go without a bra. This is a big trend this Summer, whether or not you can pull it off is up to the individual.

yes for some people that isn't possible but is all fashion accessible for everyone? Bras are out- they aren't fashionable to wear anymore for people who can pull that off. We were hiking in Zion natl park and even there, about 50-70 percent of the young women were not wearing bras. If you have a small chest you dont need them and there is still a great deal of emphasis on being thin. I think a a lot of ppl also use tape to lift the breast from underneath but no bra is the "look" and a bit of nipple through the shirt even more so. Should look like two round balls pushing through your shirt. I dont think its an approaching middle age woman's game though.

As a Frenchwoman, I beg to differ. No one I know in my native country fails to wear correct underwear in public.

And no, braless is not a trend. You can live in your own echo chamber if you want, as long as you know you're in one! Seems to be a fundamental truth you have to recognize about yourself. Also rather important for politics...

I would disagree, especially based on who is doing it now. Your comment might have been somewhat true 10-20 years ago but you sound out of touch boomer
