Why models and influencers don’t wear bras

And don’t shave your armpits…

“Why don’t women in fashion wear bras?”

Because they have itty bitties

As a Frenchwoman, I beg to differ. No one I know in my native country fails to wear correct underwear in public.

And no, braless is not a trend. You can live in your own echo chamber if you want, as long as you know you're in one! Seems to be a fundamental truth you have to recognize about yourself. Also rather important for politics...

Maybe no one you know, but Paris is positively rife with braless girls. Some even go to work like that!!

Don’t know about Paris but I was astounded in NY a few weeks ago,,, virtually bare tits everywhere! This is a movement I can support.

Ok, I am sorry to tell you this since you’re so proud that your preserved your body but not having kids but I too have dense 34bs that don’t move much….but I’m a mom. Die mad about it I guess!

Carla Bruni often went braless in public when she was First Lady.

Just thinking the same thing. Ever seen an old hippie who never wore bras?

Where did I say that I was proud of anything or that I "preserved my body"? I just have dense breasts, which is why they don't move much, and why I don't wear a bra. I've actually always found my body to be quite unfeminine because my breasts aren't soft and bouncy, and it's something I'm quite insecure about. It also makes mammograms difficult and I need them frequently because I'm at a high risk of developing breast cancer. And it's due to those health issues that I was not able to have kids.
You know what they say about assumptions...

I don’t understand the thinking that bras are uncomfortable. I put one on as soon as I get out of bed because I can’t stand walking around without the support. I’m 34B.

Plenty of men like saggy boobs.

Lol

Look at the amount of saggy boob videos on sites or Reddit threads focusing on saggy boobs or “hangers”

NP - this is a super weird and defensive response to a rather boring and neutral post, what triggered you about the pp's post?

Boobs hanging low is a marker for aging so any woman with low-hanging breasts will look older.

Many garments don't fit properly without a lifted pair of breasts.

I guess so. My teenager doesn’t like wearing a bra, and says a lot of girls don’t .

I can concur with this based on my experiences with my own teenager. Most of them have a refreshing attitude when it comes to their bodies. They are much more relaxed about things like body hair or wearing bras. Honestly it is the moms who have a problem with it. The kids are gonna be alright.

Here’s hoping these young women ignore their overly anxious moms on this forum, and also take a pass on the biker shorts under skirts look.

They may wear them to prevent chafing. Skirts are cool and comfortable, but I hate my thighs rubbing together.

Like another poster, wearing the right bra makes me look thinner and more proportioned.

Bra/no bra doesn’t matter. Genetics, kids, boob size do. I’m in my late 50s and all of my friends with big knockers have droopy boobs, including me. My husband still loves them. YMMV

I have small breasts but they sag and also have hyperactive nips. Bras make me feel much more contained and protected.
