Why don't you email him and ask?

Um he no longer has an email address in the county.

Yes he does. It’s the same email he’s always had. What makes you say he doesn’t?

Well then how can he send an email then??! It works both ways, genius.

While he was waiting for Reid to make his decision. While he still had access to his email. He knew in early June he wasn’t coming back. His contract wasn’t renewed. He could have sent an email. Or had the front office forward it. Something. Anything.

FCPS employees on admin leave aren't permitted to send any emails except to respond to Gatehouse. That's assuming he wasn't locked out of his email. Do you honestly think he had the ability to do anything not approved by Gatehouse?

He must have changed genders. It's the thing to do lately.

Once it was determined he wasn’t coming back, yes. I expected an email.

Nowadays you never can be too sure, sadly.

I am trying to give this new guy a chance to get settled but as a work parent it sure would be nice to know when they are planning to have the open houses/meet the teachers. Most of my other friends in neighboring schools seem to know by now!

Our schools have sent out nothing-not a Navy family. You're not alone

+1 we should know the dates by now so we can plan last minute trips.

Oh come on now. You are just ridiculous. Unless you are dense, you should know to keep the Wed-Fri open before school starts. They do the open houses those days every year.

Give him a break, he just started. You should know open houses are the week before school starts. You're not the only one in the world with a job.

Yeah I’d just like to know times now as I want to schedule some last appointments for my kids. It’s really not too much to ask and they should know by now.

Are you always this b*&chy in real life too? Calling people dense is a bit much. Your responses sound very familiar.
