It seems weird that they named her husband Hal. That's such an old man name (nickname for Harold). Keri Russell is like 47 or 48 - it'd make more sense if her husband's name was Stephen or Matt or Scott or David.

I'm only three episodes in, but will keep watching.

Rufus Sewell is 55 and is a stud. Is it weird that I am 3 episodes in and couldn’t tell you what Keri’s character’s name is?

It's Kate. Katherine. Rufus is hot, but his name being Hal is ... not hot. Honestly RUFUS would have been a better name for his character than Hal.

He is a terrible actor. Punchable in every role.

Rufus Sewell played a cad very well in The Holiday. I found him extremely sexy in a show called Zen.

He was excellent in Man in the High Castle. Very complex character and definitely on the side of evil. But somehow not totally evil.

Heck Claire Danes character in Homeland looked frumpy many times and she is beautiful. Heck she was doing a wipe down of her crotch in the very first episode!

She would have gotten her hair taken care of before Kabul. Otherwise who knows when she'd get a chance again.

No she wouldn’t have. Clearly having hair to impress the DCUM harpies was not a priority!

I suffered through one episode

Why are people so focused on a hair style from 25 years ago?

What I'm getting from this thread is that some women are really toxic, and the call-out they got through this show completely flew over their heads.

I’ve loved him since A Knight’s Tale!

His hair does look weird. I think he's wearing a hair piece. But he's still great and playing this role really well so far.

Who do you think it was the intended target at the end? Hal, and ordered from the PM?
Ronnie and / or Stuart, same order?
Or did that MP have some important knowledge to share with the Americans and now we’ll never know?

Think the MP was the target. I don't care as long as it means the Wylers stop cheating on each other in season 2.

She was the Ambassador's wife at one point (Hal used to be the Ambassador to Beirut). Having to dress up for events can't be a new concept to her.

Think the MP was the target and it was arranged by the PM to cover up his role in the warship bombing.

Weren’t we meant to think that Mr Wyler will not be back for season 2?

I don’t love the supporting cast but the leads do not disappoint. I enjoyed it. Wish I could just go to next season now.

Cliffhanger, she could be teary for knowing her staff was injured.
