This will make a greater difference on the country. Sorry.

No, it isn't. He's given a half a billion dollars to his alma mater. What is wrong with that?
. It’s because he is not a democrat.

It isn’t bc he isn’t a democrat. It’s bc it’s gun money. Harvard should care about the source of its donations. If they don’t, then some of us will have an opinion about that.

“Griffin’s stature as a major political donor to rightwing politicians and his company’s investments in firearm and ammunition manufacturers.
Harvard professor lobbied SEC on behalf of oil firm that pays her lavishly, emails show
Griffin’s companies held investments in gun and ammunition manufacturers worth more than $139m as of March 2022, according to Chicago NPR affiliate WBEZ. These included shares in US gun manufacturers Smith & Wesson and Sturm Ruger, as well as US ammunition makers Olin Corp, Vista Outdoor and Ammo Inc. As of 31 December 2022, the value of Citadel’s holdings in those five companies had increased to more than $200m, according to a Guardian review of SEC filings.”

So? This is good money not bad.

Of course it isn't. You're just repeating liberal talking points. Why don't you go read Harvard's post about what this gift means for diversity students and financial aid. And while you're at it read up on Soros buying judges.

DP. Y’all really need to find another or boogie man. Why does everything come back to Soros in y’all pea brains. Who will you use when Soros leaves this earth. With that said, Griffin’s unrestricted donation is amazing. It will help so many students and professors who would normally go unnoticed because they are not in the high dollar majors such as medicine, law and Harvard business.

Crazy! What is H thinking?

It's thinking "Great! now we can provide more financial aid and add needed programs". Since you said "What is Harvard thinking?" why don't we look at what the Harvard students are thinking about this in the student-run Crimson. Students normally overreact and criticize the administraion any chance they get, right? So here's a favorable story describing the gift and what can be done with the donated funds. https://www.thecrimson.com/article/2023/4/11/gsas-renamed-ken-griffin//

You need to learn to go back and read original sources and not some liberal screed. You need to research and learn to think for yourself.

No doubt you have an opinion about everything. Yawn.

Harvard and other schools always name buildings and schools after big donors

Who hasn’t heard of Ken Griffin?

99% of people

I guess Harvard is not woke anymore. Desantis can stop trashing his alma mater.

What would be more impressive is if these billionaires stop putting their names on buildings and schools

Better to just understand exactly where the money came from.
