UVA Regular Decision Friday, 3/18

People don’t have to share stats for us to congratulate them.

EA deferred, RD waitlisted- and was also offered first year at UVA, Wise campus and guaranteed transfer to Charlottesville sophomore year. Any ideas on whether this is worth to go for a CS kid with other options such as UMD.

My kid would not Wise-to-UVA. Just wouldn't. And UMD is great for CS. It's really kid-dependent.

For CS, UMD is far superior compared to UVA. Please have a look at csrankings.org.

Rejected. ACT 34 GPA 4.5 multiple national awards varsity sport. Maybe it’s not meant for my DC. Move on.

Well, everyone knows that it's holistics thing. However, for UVA, a public school, with these stats, should be shoe in, IMHO!
