| I don't think the pessimistic posts intend to imply ill-will. I'm a PP and I certainly didn't. However, I don't think it's mentally healthy for a student to be putting much hope in an RD acceptance. Based on the stats, which have been similar for a number of years, if you have a student who was deferred from ED/EA, the best thing to do would be to retrain focus and enthusiasm towards the others schools that were in the application pool. |
