Don’t they have much more discretionary income than young people?

Can you find an agency that is exploit these trends and would value your insights into the older segment of adults??

(Think AARP)

Yes, elders have way more income than Gen Z.

But they don’t spend it

But old people aren't the ones emptying clothing stores when a shirt is featured on TikTok.

Didn’t read the whole thread but I knew two people who ran a creative graphic design business and they are boomer hippies.

Fine, go tell black women and people in wheelchairs to stop complaining and “embrace” themselves too. Some of you just don’t understand that age discrimination IS discrimination.

Everyone gets old. Therein lies the difference.

So this justifies discrimination? What poor, lazy reasoning.

Well when everyone faces the same thing at some point in their lives then no one is really being “discriminated” against. Ageism is the most equal opportunity -ism out there!

37% of the workforce is over 50. Compared to 52% of workers who are female. So no - not every worker experiences ageism

* to be clear that’s 37% of those over 50 who are still employed
