I don't have one but I like trucks. It must be a great feeling to not have to pay for a delivery or hire someone to pick something up from the store when you can do it yourself.

And IRL how often do you need this?

Admittedly not often, but as they now make full size, 4cyl trucks that get the same mileage per gallon as cars, the only benefit I see in cars is that they're easier to park.

Teslas used to look fresh and hip, but now that it's become the Nissan Sentra of the DMV where everyone and their mother has one or two, it accentuates the ugly styling and poor build quality of Elon Musk's assembly line.

Brand new pickup trucks in expensive DC downtown neighborhoods. After scraping my sedans' fronts and undercarriage on the curbcuts and poorly-maintained streets of DC and Baltimore, I can appreciate the value of a higher clearance vehicle, but brand-new extended crew cab pickups not only crowd the street who needs them there? I understand if you are a contractor running your own business, but otherwise, pls just move to the suburbs and take your show truck with you.

Lol yup, every luxury or semi luxury car has been named. Not everyone wants to drive a Prius or Outback.

Does anyone want to drive a Prius or an outback?

Not me.

Something is wrong with you if you think buying a reliable car is “tacky”

Corolla/Camry = grandma with 2 kleenex boxes in rear window.

Prius = My community depends on me remaining well below the posted speed limit during my entire rush hour commute on this 2 lane road. Trust me, your being late stuck behind me is better for Earth.

If this was a thread about what kind of people you find abhorrent and cringe-worthy, you would top that list. You are so pretentious and judgmental.

Those are reliable cars, good for the environment. No dog in this fight since I don’t own a car - I live in a walkable neighborhood. Owned a bmw i3 for a short period which I had inherited,

Also the person who says they hate lexus lol jokes on you, those are solid, reliable cars, topping the most reliable and safe cars every year.

All sports cars but specifically Corvettes.

My friend is OLD and if a dude pulls up in a sports car it's an immediate NO.

Something is wrong with everyone answering this thread. Life is too short for this nonsense.

Don’t be so jealous that you don’t have money or your wife’s permission to buy a toy. Maybe when you are old you get your chance

This thread is kind of pathetic. The majority of the people here clearly are just hating on cars they can't afford, with a handful of people making judgmental comments.

+1 minus the can't afford point. What I find cringe is when people get worked up by something as stupid (and a matter of personal taste) as what make/model car or SUV other people drive.

Dodge Charger and its ilk.
