I remember both. I also remember Garfinkle's, Hecht's, and Woodward and Lothrop. I'm really old! When I was at George Washington there was a cafeteria with religious prayers at each table but the food was good and cheap. I don't remember the name. Anybody go back that far?

Scholl's.

They had an amazing selection of delicious pies. That's what I remember the most.

Morrison’s?

And W. Bell. Used to love looking at their gemstone rings (amethyst, sapphire, etc.). And their watches.

YES!! None of my friends remember Cedar Post, and neither does my mom - which is bizarre since we spent so much time there. Loved that place. So "cutting-edge"!

Picture of Garfinkle's. It was on F St. I loved this store. It smelled expensive. I had a summer job there and they gave me my first credit card.

We used to go to the one at Tyson's. They had beautiful formal/prom gowns.

Tyson's for me. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, chocolate milk, with apple pie for dessert. Yum. My mom would take me shopping after school and we'd always eat there first.

Hit or Miss. Most of my high school wardrobe came from that store. And my first bikini.

Love remembering all these places! Dart Drug, Best, Bell, Bradlee's, Father's Gay Nineties. I worked at Fotomat for years.

Loved Cedar Post in White Flint. I got a pair of Fiorucci (sp?) jeans there.
