Is my MIL highly intuitive or listening in somehow?

Op does your mil use your wifi when she is at your house? Is your wifi password protected? If she has left any type of bug that requires your wifi, that will stop it from transmitting. I've heard of people leaving cell phones at places to eaves drop. My old fashioned phone would allow me to listen in to my house.

forgot to add, what will fix things if she's using something that requires wifi is changing the wifi pw.

You know for a fact that the conversation with your daughter was in her room so start there, and yes change your Wi-Fi password.

Usually intuitive people have a history. Has your husband ever mentioned that his mother was particularly perceptive when he was growing up? It’s not like this…ability…would come out of nowhere all of a sudden.

It has to do with your web browser search history and privacy settings, not sharing the same WiFi connection.

Sorry but common wifi does impact the ads. If ads are not generated based on your browsing history they flow from the IP.

That MIL might be "friends" or following the DC on instagram, tiktok, etc.
