At least you’re honest about keeping people from voting for us. SMH. |

There will be Reproductive Freedom Rider (RFF) buses, sponsored by pro-choice organizations.
Young women will also able to be sponsored by an individual advocate who will offer her concrete, well-planned strategies for access, including full payment for the procedure and ancillary costs. Money for food, lodging, Uber, gas— all will be available. Organizations will publicize options through social media. |
Do you think your prediction will flip voters? You do realize plenty of pro-life-anti-abortion supporters would be fine with this bc it would be privately funded, right? Also, plenty of pro-choice for others who would not have abortions themselves would be OK if the funding stream relied on less public funds. |
DC is not a state it’s a district hum can the6 enforce? |
15 weeks should be coupled with generous exceptions for the life and health of the mother. In addition, elective abortions should be provided at ALL hospitals that receive public funding, all bogus counseling requirements and waiting periods eliminated, and ideally the procedure should be subsidized. Those requirements would help women who want an abortion to obtain one quickly and safely. I’d also like to see birth control pills provided over the counter. There’s no need for a doctor’s visit and prescription. |
Abortions were already privately funded under roe so what are you talking about? The Hyde amendment prohibits the use of federal funds for abortion. |
Don’t be obtuse. You know that some monies are fungible. Some clinics could not operate if they did not get funding for non-abortion services. |
oh how nice that your blue state/district neighbors are willing to provide healthcare services to you that your own state would deny to you. You treat liberal policies like a booty call. I would question your morals. |
If you or a loved one needs an abortion for whatever reason, "democrat idiocy" will save you. |

There was a time I could have been persuaded to vote for a R candidate, as there are a number of issues I lean more center-right on.
I did not vote for Youngkin, and the SCOTUS absolutely sealed the deal that I will never, ever, EVER in my life vote for a Republican candidate at any level. At least until they drop this religious nutjob "pro-life" facade that 90% of us know is horseshit. Are the Democratic candidates great? No. But they're not the disgusting zealot charlatans like the Republicans of this time are. |
oh PP, you don't seem to understand that some people (see ^PP) are extremely selfish and only care about themselves. Clearly the ^PP has the means to go to a blue area to get healthcare that her own state would deny her. She's saying, "Thank goodness for blue states for when I need them but screw them when I don't". |
| You all should put your money where your mouth is. Will you leave VA if they do restrict abortion? I doubt it.. because money is still more important to you than abortion. This won't move the needle much, and Rs know it. Most people don't feel that strongly enough about abortion to impact their wallets. |
Agree 100%. |
I will be moving my small business out of VA if Youngkin fcks with women’s rights. My kids even want to leave the country they are so disgusted by the current mess caused by Republicans. |
Because they need those funds for all of the other amazing services they provide.
